I am 26, grew up in upstate New York, and spent the last few years living in NYC.  In February I moved to SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, with my husband.  Not that big of a deal for him, being from here and all, but a change of pace for me.  I could have started this blog about three months ago and actually chronicled things from the beginning like my mom wanted me to, but I didn’t.  So here is a basic rundown of events for those who might be interested:

Aug. 31: Got married

Sept/Oct/Nov: Applied for visa (we got the application to DC by Oct. 22, and they granted me the visa on Nov. 15)

Feb. 4: Arrived in Sydney

Feb. 14: Moved into our apartment (apartment-hunting is a crazy ride here but I will have another chance to describe it when we move again in August).  We also bought a refrigerator that day and we got a free heart-shaped box of chocolates from Harvey Norman (the appliance store).  It was incredibly romantic.
